Availability, Pricing & Payment
Back Orders
If the item you wish to purchase is not in stock you will be advised on the product page. You will have the opportunity to supply an email address and/or mobile phone number for us to contact you when the item is back in stock for purchase. If less stock arrives than the number of customers that signed up to be notified, you may find the product goes out of stock again. We recommend you act promptly after receiving the notification, if thee item goes out of stock before you make your purchase you will have to sign up to be notified once again. We never ask for payment in advance.
Pricing
Prices shown on our website include VAT at the current UK rate (20%) which is broken down at the time of checkout. A printed full VAT invoice will be shipped with your goods, an electronic version is available by request. We believe that our prices are competitive and as such do not offer price matching. If, however, you are purchasing multiple items then we may at our discretion be able to offer a further discount. Prices are normally shown in UK pounds sterling, however, if our store detects you are outside of the UK you will be offered the ability to view and pay for products in your own currency. You can also manually select your currency at the bottom left of all pages. Your bank, credit card issuer or PayPal may make additional charges for purchasing in UK pounds sterling with a non-sterling card, these charges are outside of our control and should be confirmed with your bank or card company. Exchange rates between your home currency and UK pounds sterling are set by the payment provider you choose to use. Prices are subject to change at anytime.
UK VAT
All orders placed for delivery within the UK include 20% VAT. Our registered VAT number is GB 2012 508 71.
European Union VAT, Tax or TVA Charges
Weather Spares ships all orders to European Union member states as 'Duty Paid' and no additional charges should be made by local customs. The amount paid will be shown on the checkout confirmation page and email.
Duties and Taxes on orders to Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and United States
All duties, tariffs and taxes will be collected at checkout for these countries and paid to the relevant customs authorities, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). The amount paid will be shown on the checkout confirmation page and email.
Import Duties and Taxes on Deliveries to all other locations.
Liability for local import duties and taxes remain the responsibility of the customer, you should check with your local tax authority to confirm the amount and whether additional administrations charges will be applied. Customs declarations will show the purchase value of goods.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption by our credit card processing provider. Full credit card details are not held in any form by Weather Spares, however, the card type and last 4 digits may be recorded for accounting purposes. Where telephone orders are placed using a credit card these are entered directly into the online credit card processing secure website and not physically recorded at Weather Spares. We cannot make additional charges to the payment method given without your authorisation.
PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Wallet Payments
Please see your payment provider for their specific agreements when purchasing using these payment method.
Warranty & Returns
Guarantee Period
All new products are supplied with a guarantee as detailed below. In some cases an additional guarantee is provided by the manufacturer, we will endeavour to facilitate this for you. Proof of purchase will be required for warranties offered over 12 months directly by the manufacturer. Some refurbished or open box items may have a reduced warranty - this will be detailed on the product page of our website along with any specific details the buyer needs to be made aware of.

In the event of an apparent fault within the warranty period you should in the first place contact us. If we are then unable to resolve the fault the goods or relevant part thereof should be returned to us in order that we can ascertain any fault. Occasionally we may ask you to return the product directly to our suppliers in order to expedite the resolution. Subject to such a fault we will either repair, replace or refund as appropriate. Any refunds will be made upon receipt and examination of the product.
Weather Spares is not liable for incidental costs in returning a product under warranty including, but not limited to scaffolding hire for access, hire of personnel or hire of equipment in relation to the removal of product.
Before returning goods outside of 28 days you must contact us and obtain a returns authorisation (RMA number). Processing goods returned without an RMA number may cause a delayed in helping you.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
Weather Spares offers a helpful, responsive and an expert technical support service via email and online chat. Technical assistance is offered to our customers for weather stations and accessories within the warranty period. Weather Spares offers a paid repair service to those seeking advice outside of their weather stations warranty or the option to purchase replacement and spare parts for their weather station.
When contacting Weather Spares with a support request, please provide as much relevant detail as possible. We support thousands of customers globally so the more background information you can provide on the fault and the product it relates to will result in a more comprehensive answer. When dealing with customers that prefer to contact us in their native language we will endeavour to use electronic translation services to communicate with you in your preferred language.
When emailing the Weather Spares support team please make sure you include the following information:
What the problem is with your product?
A clear description of what appears to be wrong, which should be brief but specifying all relevant details. For example, if there's a reading that seems inaccurate or is missing, then clarify if that reading is on the weather console or in the PC software. Detail briefly what troubleshooting measures have been tried to date and with what result.
Details of the Weather Station / accessory are you using the purchased item with?
Include all of your equipment’s specification details, the model number, wireless or cabled, and any accessories fitted (e.g. Anemometer Transmitter or additional Temperature Transmitter).
If it's a problem with the weather software or the data stored on a connected PC then which version of the data logger and program are you using?
Which version of Windows or Mac OS is on the computer?
When did you buy your equipment and who from if not Weather Spares?
When was it purchased? (This will give our team and indication of age/version and whether or not the unit is still under warranty.)
Do you have a Weather Spares invoice number and/or approximate date of purchase?

Shipping goods back to Weather Spares
After having contacted Weather Spares with the above information and it has been deemed necessary to return part or all of your equipment for testing and/or repair then please follow the process detailed in our Refunds & Returns policy here.
